Verizon Samsung Omnia 2 – New Verizon Cell Phones
The Verizon Samsung Omnia 2 i8000 looks good and it has good features, the Samsung Omnia 2 is the first phone I’ve seen that slaughters the iPhone’s hardware in every aspect. New Verizon Phones – Samsung Omnia 2 i8000 features include a 3.7-inch AMOLED screen with WVGA resolution, a 5 megapixel camera, 2GB to 48GB internal storage with microSD expansion slot, 480p video recording and playback, EVDO Rev A, Bluetooth 2.0, HSDPA 7.2Mbps and HSUPA 5.76Mbps, WiFi, AGPS, TouchWiz 2.0 UI and running Windows Mobile 6.1 Professional underbelly will be later upgradeable to 6.5. Too bad the Omnia 2 is Windows Mobile, which is awful.

I look forward to replacing my WM6.1 Samsung i760.
It was a great phone but became outdated within six months. I have always been a WM fan. I never liked Apple or any of its products but found myself enjoying the games, media playback, browser, and APPS of an 2nd generation IPOD touch I just won. I think I would like this new WM phone but am sure I will miss my slider QWERTY keyboard. I think the ultimate would be an IPHONE with an AMOLED, and a slide out QWERTY. Since upgrading my IPOD to 3.0, I can tell the transition to an on screen QWERTY wont be any fun. I just had my I760 warranty replacement arrive and cloned it to my old phone. It is running fast and smooth so I think I can wait for Verizon IPHONE or this Omnia to arrive.

How much would it cost, if u got a 2 year warrenty and bought it at the actual verizon wireless store rather than ordering it over the enternet?
