Verizon Motorola Devour cell phone coming soon
The Verizon Motorola Devour cell phone’s keyboard looks like it has more tactical feedback than the Droid’s. It’s a picture of a prototype from at least 6 months ago. I’m glad verizon will now have a multitude of awesome phones to go with their great network.

I’d like to know too if a data plan is going to be required. I’m sick of all the new phones having wifi and verizon still requiring a data plan to be purchased also. Not everyone needs internet at any given moment of the day.

Why can’t Motorola release a fucking texting phone without a data plan? The Rival was a POS phone with a shitty user interface and didn’t have real numbers. Motorola, you NEED to start putting better camera’s in phones and truly rivaling the ENV

Its not motorola that requires the data plan its verizon so relax there are plenty of other phones out there you can get that do not require the data plan

Looks like a cool phone. You guys MUST not know Verizon too well. You KNOW it will require a data plan as Chris stated? Sometimes you can have the exact 2 phones and another network may not charge for what Verizon charges since its an “enhanced” multimedia phone. For instance you don’t HAVE to get email or data with a blackberry. Just no one tells you that. If you know the right person they can fix that for you.

The devour isn’t going to run on android 2.1, as a matter of fact it’ll run on andriod 1.6 and most likely won’t be available for upgrade for quite some time due to the fact that it runs motoblur. Seriously? You’re a verizon rep? Hmm….kinda shady if you’re not lying.

i think that verizon should get a family data plan because not everyone wants to have internet and we should have the choice to pick too. i believe that verizon should think about this because many verizon user are leaving to cingular because they have a choice to pick what they want.
