The T-Mobile MyTouch HD cell phone is coming soon, supposedly the screen is 4.3-inch with a 1Ghz processor. As far as other features, rumors are it has an 8MP camera and stereo microphone and loudspeaker running on Froyo. I really hope all the rumored specs are true! It will be November 3rd, aka “Emerald”…

Don’t worry about the CPU speed. Check the GPU and then decide if it is worth it. CPU speed is less important. What is important is how powerful the GPU is. Although this CPU is only rated at 800MHz, it features Adreno 205 GPU! T-Mobile G1 has a damn ARM 11 processor, the G2 has a ARM Cortex A8. Let me put it like this ARM 11 < ARM Cortex A8, period. I really wanted to get this phone.

T-Mobile G2 is basically a Nexus One with a keyboard and 2.2, it’s like Nexus Two ! T-Mobile G2 cell phone will be available for $199.99 with a two-year contract and $50 mail-in rebate, or $499.99 without contract. I’d say it’s a fair bet that it will run vanilla android, which I think is the only android I would ever want. The whole point of this phone is to have HSPA+ on T-Mobile. Sure the Epic 4G has the graphics, but is bigger and HSPA+ is likely going to be faster until 2012. I am really thinking about getting this phone.

The T-Mobile G2 cell phone really is sexy, Buttons look very small, isn’t it? Unless the phone itself is very big. Now I must say though if this keyboard is like the touch pro 2 or the MT slide, then it will be more then adequate. Definitely better then the droid’s keyboard. I hated that thing with a passion. Loved the phone just not the keyboard. T-Mobile has a phone worth mentioning. The G2 uses a 1GHz Cortex A8, which is significantly faster than the MyTouch Slide’s 600MHz ARM11 in more ways than just the clock speed. This phone looks nice.

The T-Mobile BlackBerry Curve 3G will be available on September 8 for $79.99 with 2-year contract. I like the BlackBerry pricing scheme. The Curve 3G supports UMA and 3G. One of the best features exclusive to T-Mobile blackberries is UMA support. UMA is the ability of phones to make calls and texts through a wifi connection, where service is weak or nonexistent. This technology is very noteworthy because you can take the phone to another country and connect it to WiFi and use the phone to make and receive calls as if you are in the US without any roaming charges? The BlackBerry Curve 3G will be available in grey and purple.
