The Nokia N900 cell phone pros: better camera, more desktop-like environment, particularly the browser, possible cannibalization of Maemo 5 by Maemo 6 in short period of time, don’t care to support linux over google, as I don’t feel that google is all that evil and it seems that their platform is a little more tested, Don’t care about the portrait vs landscape implementation, Prefer the N900’s quad band, Better implementation of flash on N900.

The Nokia N900 cell phone has generated a lot of interest since its public launch in August, which has been reflected in the device preorders. The Nokia N900 is now on sale for $649 from Nokia website. I wondering what the subsidied price is going to be as well, but the Nokia never subsidizes. Problem with Nokia is they don’t really seem very serious about the North American market, nor do they seem very interested in actually selling their smartphones. In order to sell in NA they need to have the right radio bands, and also hit the right price point. Sure they would lose money on the handsets, but could recover revenue in other ways like apps and subscriptions. Do you know any word on the t-mobile subsidized price or t-mobile release date?

The Nokia N900 looks pretty nice, and I like the look of the OS. It’s clear that the Maemo 5 UI is a giant step forward compared to S60. New Nokia Phones - Nokia N900’s menus and UI look great, hopefully it will be priced not too high. don’t care about screen tech long as it works. I’d bet my soul that the final OS doesn’t look nearly as slick as that.
The Nokia N900 cell phone features include a Slider keyboard, a 3.5-inch WVGA screen, a 5.0 megapixel Camera with autofocus and flash, WiFi, Bluetooth, FM Transmiter and MicroSD up to 32 GB. word is that Nokia will bring a capacitive device running Maemo later in the year.
