The Sony Ericsson Aino cell phone looked really compelling until I realized it doesn’t say what OS is on it. I’ve been waiting for this phone, but now, I doubt I’ll get it. No 3.5mm jack? How disappointing. Every phone company by now should realize that such a feature is always in demand. Especially a phone touting multi-media playback. This looked really compelling until I realized it doesn’t say what OS is on it.

The Sony Ericsson Aino cell phone is now on sale for $599.99 in the US by the SonyStyle online shop. That’s unlocked. Remember subsidizing phones will significantly lower price. I believe price a bit high but not really high consider many high end phone cost around the same or more. The Aino features include a 3 inch TFT touchscreen display, an 8MP autofocus camera, WiFi, GPS with Google Maps, 8GB card included with MicroSD card support, Remote Play support. The new Sony Ericsson Aino has quad-band GSM/EDGE and tri-band UMTS/HSPA 850/1900/2100 supports AT&T’s network.
