Don’t worry about the CPU speed. Check the GPU and then decide if it is worth it. CPU speed is less important. What is important is how powerful the GPU is. Although this CPU is only rated at 800MHz, it features Adreno 205 GPU! T-Mobile G1 has a damn ARM 11 processor, the G2 has a ARM Cortex A8. Let me put it like this ARM 11 < ARM Cortex A8, period. I really wanted to get this phone.

The Verizon Samsung Gem cell phone looks like the Galaxy Spica. A mid-low Samsung Android device. Which is why they’re low end, not everybody in the world is a heavy end user. My friend has a Droid and only uses it for texting, picture messages, and occasional web. But the initial price is a bit lower, but you’re paying the same fee every month as you would with a high end phone. That’s it.

This looks strikingly similar to the LG Prime an AT&T go-phone, the touch screen is very easy to use and the camera is amazing. The Windows Phone 7 OS is very cool, give the HTC HD7 cell phone the bigger screen and media power, 4.3-inch is perfect. So far as I know, the 800×480 resolution spec’s (and all the other WP7 spec’s listed so far) are the MINIMUM spec’s. If the hardware suppliers want to best them, there’s no reason you couldn’t see a FWVGA version in the future…I still think WP7 is a big improvement over 6.5 though, that’s what I’m waiting for. The HD7 will be available in stores beginning on October 18, 2010.

T-Mobile G2 is basically a Nexus One with a keyboard and 2.2, it’s like Nexus Two ! T-Mobile G2 cell phone will be available for $199.99 with a two-year contract and $50 mail-in rebate, or $499.99 without contract. I’d say it’s a fair bet that it will run vanilla android, which I think is the only android I would ever want. The whole point of this phone is to have HSPA+ on T-Mobile. Sure the Epic 4G has the graphics, but is bigger and HSPA+ is likely going to be faster until 2012. I am really thinking about getting this phone.
