HTC dual-mode Android phone with slide-out QWERTY keyboard

September 5th, 2010 Posted by New Cell Phones

The new HTC dual-mode GSM  / CDMA cell phone is likely still a prototype, the colors are nice. It probably isn’t a final color version.  The Droid Incredible was a bright reddish-orange as well as glossy when we first saw it, but it ended up having a matte soft-touch black back and glossy front. I’d prefer the physical keyboard. Real qwerty is useful when you need to type something very accurately like a password in a rush. The new HTC dual-mode Android phone also features,  1.2GHz processor, QWERTY keyboard, Froyo, 4-inch display, CDMA 2000 and GSM 850, WiFi, Bluetooth and 5 Megapixels camera with flash. GSM needs more Android options in the states. It will be available from Verizon Wireless or AT&T.

T-Mobile Huawei Ideos – New T-Mobile cell phones

September 4th, 2010 Posted by New Cell Phones

The T-Mobile Huawei Ideos cell phone is small and so damn affordable. It’s simple. I would love to have it just to tinker and mess around with it. You can always count on T-Mobile for entry-level Android devices, it seems. The future is shaping around small, affordable, and higher quality with an attractive design. The T-Mobile Ideos Android phone offered a plug-in “stick” for laptops to connect to wireless Internet. Mr. Stofega, the IDC analyst, said the Ideos will likely be priced under $100 in the U.S., possibly as low as $50. ”

The T-Mobile IDEOS features a 2.8-inch touchscreen display, 3.2 megapixel autofocus camera, 528 MHz processor, 3G HSDPA and WiFi connectivity with hotspot support, voice dialing, and navigation.

T-Mobile G2 Specs

September 2nd, 2010 Posted by New Cell Phones

T-Mobile G2 cell phone Specifications / Features:

- 800MHz Qualcomm Scorpion processor
- 3.7 inch WVGA display
- Wi-Fi, GPS
- 5MP autofocus camera
- Slide-out QWERTY keyboard
- Android 2.2 Froyo
- Flash Player 10.1
- One-touch Quick Keys for fast access to Google shortcuts and applications
- HSPA+

Don’t worry about the CPU speed. Check the GPU and then decide if it is worth it. CPU speed is less important. What is important is how powerful the GPU is. Although this CPU is only rated at 800MHz, it features Adreno 205 GPU! T-Mobile G1 has a damn ARM 11 processor, the G2 has a ARM Cortex A8. Let me put it like this ARM 11 < ARM Cortex A8, period. I really wanted to get this phone.

Verizon Samsung Gem – New Verizon cell phones

September 2nd, 2010 Posted by New Cell Phones

The Verizon Samsung Gem cell phone looks like the Galaxy Spica. A mid-low Samsung Android device. Which is why they’re low end, not everybody in the world is a heavy end user. My friend has a Droid and only uses it for texting, picture messages, and occasional web. But the initial price is a bit lower, but you’re paying the same fee every month as you would with a high end phone. That’s it.
