They do tweak the phones slightly, but they remain very recognizable as essentially the same phone. We’ll soon be learning more about Palm’s mythical 3rd WebOS device. AT&T will begin internal certification testing of the device (code named "ELAN") in two weeks. Hopefully it has a really nice processor and a large screen. A sliding keyboard with a dedicated number row would be good too.

An all-new Palm device on AT&T sometime around May? This is exactly what I’ve been hoping for! I’m def happy to be with AT&T, large coverage, and all options iPhone, webOS, Android, BlackBerry.

I actually quite like the form factor, but I’d prefer it much more with more powerful hardware and a bigger screen.

As people have already stated i really like the size of my 9000, so I’m going to be upset if it’s a drastic change. The trackball succeeded the side mounted scroll-wheel and now the track-pad is succeeding the trackball. The two grooves are immediately noticeable and the leather back is just a tad different. The Camera looks much more integrated and more sleek. This is a very big difference from the pager that RIM was in the beginning.

Without lit keyboard, but I would be worried about the color picking up a lot of dirty fingerprints. The white BlackBerry Bold for AT&T coming October 18th and will be $199.99 after assorted rebates.  Surprisingly…They look really nice.

The Tilt2 offers nothing new to AT&T customers. My point was that the Tilt2, as a Windows Mobile 6.5 device out of the box, should at least offer something new to consumers over the other Touch Pro2 that are already on the market. If new TouchFLO 3D interface is all you look for in a phone, and looking at the 480×800 screen, buy it! AT&T didn’t take off the 3.5mm, this was HTC’s fault. HTC has been lacking in the 3.5mm for quite a long time now, and at this point in time with many other phones including 3.5mm, HTC is really lacking. I checked again. Sprint and Verizon Touch Pro 2 do indeed have 3.5mm jacks.
