New Verizon Samsung Glyde U940 Cell Phone is a new cell phone coming in the very near future.The long overdue Samsung Glyde U940 has finally shown up in Verizon’s InfoManager system. Unfortunately, no release date or price is listed along with it. All that is shown are the official specs of the device, press photos, and on-line user guide. However, rumor has it that full retail price will be $499, with 2-year pricing around that of the Voyager, and a release in May or June.

It is difficult to put into publishable words what I think of this phone. Some electronic gadgets irk me; few are downright frustrating; but none has evoked the level of pure hatred that the Glyde has. I think it was more sucessful at placing random calls and texts from my pocket than actual calls. Many times I had to resist the urge to chuck it into a wall. My Glyde is now fragmented thanks to the therapy session I just had in the garage with a large hammer. Thanks Samsung!
