The Motorola Sholes cell phone is coming soon for Verizon and AT&T, Verizon will get first dibs on the Sholes phone. The Sholes is highly optimized for the new ARMv7 architecture of the OMAP3430. This will allow an increase to DSP and media processing throughput by up to 400 percent, and offers improved floating point support to address the needs of next generation 3D graphics and games physics. Hope they have something with a little better build quality than the Pre has. Motorola has it in them, but they can over do things as well. and I’m hoping the hardware supports the T-Mobile carrier bands.

this phone looks good but Verizon should come out with a package that will compete with Sprints $99 deal. My son switched to Sprint and is saving over $59 per month and now has the internet with Sprint. If Verizon were smart they would come out with this and double their subscribers. Not to mention nights start at 7:00 which
Verizon once offered when it was Cellular One. In this economy People want more for less $$$

OK, hold on. I’ve been waiting for this phone to come out but when I did my research, it said Verizon was making no such phone, that it was really the Droid. Looking @ this picture you can tell they are different, but whats the deal? I’ve been waiting for months and i’ve heard nothing!

yeah it does look like the droid no difference..well a small one the buttons at the bottom on the screen are different.. i had the big DROID and I hated it.. went through 3 in 2 months..heard the DROID Eris is much better.

@anastasia…went through three droids in 2 months? must be a user error. had this phone now for 3 months works fine. droid has been rooted / cpu overclocked / wireless thetered. this is a iphone killer. know the potential of your phone before you purchase.

My boyfriend has the Motorola Droid, he’s had the same one for three months now with no problems at all. Then again he’s OCD and takes especially good care of his stuff.
I’m going to be in the market for a new phone in a couple of months and this one looks like it has sparked my interest. Any user reviews would be greatly appreciated, once they’re available.
