The Sprint HTC Hero is solid and fast,the Hero looks fantastic! New Spront Phones – Hero’s widgets are very, very cool. Love seeing my Google Apps Calendar right there on screen, weather, etc. I love this phone! This is the single greatest phone I have ever owned. The “scenes” feature and the widgets make this the only phone I have ever felt I could truly personalize. I think the HTC folks figured out that the software experience is infinitely more important than the hardware experience. one Sprint user say: This phone is stellar. There is no lag when swiping around or using apps. There is a 2 second delay when switching orientation of the keyboard, which can hopefully be fixed in an upgrade, but compared to my friend’s G1, it’s faster.

HTC Hero - Sprint Cell Phones

The new Sprint Hero is great, compared to normal android its much better. The widgets, are nice,  Android already has better apps, The integration with Google Apps, Facebook, Twitter, Flickr, and YouTube is awesome! It also has an IM app for AIM, MSN, and Yahoo, but I ended up turning that off because I couldn’t figure out how to NOT log in automatically, and I don’t want to be on IM all the time. I’m sure there’s a better IM app available for download in the market.

The Sprint HTC Hero is now on sale for $179.99 after $100 mail-in rebate. The HTC Hero features include a virtual QWERTY keyboard and Touch Screen, 5.0 Megapixel camera/camcorder, exclusively from Sprint, the first android enabled phone on the Now network, customize home screens to better suit your life-one ofr work one for family, one for weekend, etc. Android market comes with thousands of apps, and is continously growing. The Sprint Hero looks better without the chin. Although, I heard the chinned Hero just got a nice contract for a Gillette commercial and I really like this phone.
